Guides & methods

A good setup depends less on skill than on method: knowing what to measure, in what order to work and when to stop. Our guides follow the workshop approach step by step, with drawings and reference values cross-checked against manufacturers' published specifications.

• Complete guides: the useful theory, detailed practice and appendices to understand every adjustment.
• Protocols: the procedure summed up in a few pages, to print and keep at hand.
• Setup sheets: to record each instrument's measurements and find your settings again from one season to the next.

All guides are PDF files available for download immediately after purchase, readable on computer, tablet and phone, and printable for personal use. They are available in English, French and German.

Every guide also says plainly which jobs are best left to a professional.

An instrument is set up once, but looked after for a lifetime.
